Export Documents ensure international trade goods reach their destination, and that payment is achieved as quickly as possible. Generally they comply with SITPRO alignment and fall into the following categories:

Commercial Documents - comply with your company needs
Regulated Documents - controlled by a 3rd party who dictates how the document is completed

A.TR

A.TR Movement Certificate
The A.TR Movement Certificate may be required for goods shipped from the EU to Turkey. The A.TR covers the supply of free circulation goods and provides preferential status at import into Turkey.

Bank Collection Note

Bank Collection Document
Instructs a bank how to process an export documentary collection. This service uses the bank as an intermediary between the importer and exporter to handle distribution of documents and payments. A standard format for this agreed between SITPRO and the BBA (British Bankers Association) can be used, although some banks issue their own formats which may deviate from this standard.

Bill of Exchange

Bill of Exchange
Can be used alone or with a Letter of Credit to represent the monetary value of a shipment. A Sight Draft or Bill of Exchange must be paid before any accompanying documents will be released. A Tenor Bill may be due at a future date and can be bought and sold by a process known as "discounting".

Bills of Exchange can be used singly (sole) or in pairs (1st and 2nd Exchange) when the first to arrive renders the other void.

Dangerous Good Note - Last Update 1st January 2010

SITPRO DGN

When dangerous goods are transported, the consignment must be accompanied by a document that contains information declaring the nature of the dangers of the goods. The SITPRO DGN enables the shipper to complete one standard document for all consignments irrespective of port or inland depot. The greatest benefit of using the DGN is that receiving authorities have clear and precise information on the way the goods should be handled.

3rd December 2009

Announcement - new rules for completion of Dangerous Goods Notes come into force on 1st January 2010. New versions of the pre-printed stationery are now available as 2009 version. These include changes to the text on the front and reverse of the form. i2i customers have been upgraded with the latest data changes which are required to complete the DGN.

7th October 2009 - Announcement from SITPRO.

The introduction of Tunnel Codes from 1st January 2010 is pushing the need for publication of a revised DGN.

DGNs produced by i2i software services are completed in accordance with SITPRO's Dangerous Goods Completion Guide - Revised Edition - March 2007 (SITPRO 1999 Design). .
